Digital Art Fest by Sangam India conducted on Zoom Streaming

The event that started it all. An 8 day long online event after the lockdown from 16th-23rd December that put Sangam on the map. It was a great
opportunity for artists, young leaders, entrepreneurs to connect with like minded people from all over India. The fest had exciting mentoring sessions from amazing speakers, the likes of Siddharth Menon and Annushka Hardikar to Sarang Sathaye and Gandhaar Sangoram.

Bandh

Bandh was Sangam's first ever live event. It was truly an experience for our audience to preserve the beauty of bonds. The evening commenced with the screening of the first ever short film made by Sangam: Malai. It was an evening full of poetry, music, smiles and bonds witnessed by more than 120
enthusiastic people across the city. We aimed at providing a professional yet feasible space to local artists and give the best of Sangam's bliss to our audience through the lovely short film Malai!

Anandyatri

At Sangam, we commemorated the life of a literary genius, a comedy maestro and a man, of and from art through the event Anandayatri. It was a celebration of P. L. Despande’s life through various art forms. It involved popular P.L Deshpande one act plays, enacted by several of our amazingly talented members and a performance based on his classic form of storytelling: कथा कथन.

The event aimed to show people how he made his own impact in his own ways on society!

Wizarding Weekend

The wizarding weekend was specially curated for the young and enthusiastic potterheads. Wizarding weekend was an event held through an online platform zoom on July 31st which also marks Harry Potter's birthday. Wizarding weekend was a magical and exciting event loved by all the potterheads right from the age of eight and above. The event helped form a community of like minded literature enthusiasts!

Swarasangam

Here at Sangam, for the first time ever, we tried to create a unique musical experience, Swarsangam. The event was all about exploring new music styles with artists all around the city and participating in fun filled music activities which encouraged the artists to create blissful music. The whole concept of Swarsangam was to motivate artists to discover new and unique styles of music and to create a platform for artists to showcase their art.

Fan-O-Ween

Fan-O-Ween was a Halloween evening filled with all types of Fandoms. On the 31st of October , Kalachhaya cultural center was full to the brim with an enthusiastic audience. Halloween decorations and fandom energy fuelled the event. Our members loved the experience of hosting a Halloween event , which surely was a boost to their morale!

The 11:11 Flea

The 11:11 flea, one of our greatest events. Around 70+ stalls selling beautiful jewellery, fashionable clothing, amazing home decor and finger licking delicacies! To engage our friendly visitors we had also organized drum circles, live music and live pottery. The event had renowned brands like Aadya, Talam, Bandh Ja and many more!

RAAH

Raah, another one of a kind event curated by Sangam, was an evening filled with poetry, music and musings. The evening commenced with a classical piece of William Shakespeare with a unique twist. It was performed by Sangam's own artists, a journey of life, in different perspectives through music and movement. It was followed by an open mic for our talented audience to showcase their skills. Raah left an impact on the artists as well as the audience.

Love transcends all boundaries and we wanted to celebrate it in our way; to take a moment and appreciate love in all its shades and forms. What better way to do it than to have an evening filled with poetry, music and musings. To have varying poets, singers, shayars all under one roof. And what better setting than FC road Social, antiSOCIAL?
An open mic that neither us nor the audience will ever forget was Loveज़ in a nutshell. From mashups to originals and the highlight? Why Sangam Originals of course;)

MAKEMYSHOW

MakeMyShow was Sangam's segment in ‘The Social Zone’ , an event in collaboration with Within Us (a Mumbai based mental health page). As the name suggests, the event was based on Movies and TV Shows . Sangam is grateful that we could bring together cinema and TV show lovers from different locations on a virtual platform and have a great time together.

THINKFULL

We at Sangam introduced a venture with ‘dignity academia and tailwinds’ - Thinkfull. Through Thinkfull we aimed at educating the young as well as elderly on how to manage stress, how to deal with negativity and focusing on mental, physical health by means of various activities. The sessions were conducted by renowned and well versed speakers like Vibha Despande and Dr. Shweta Vichare.
